Data Engineering Architect 2.2 2.2 out of 5 stars Kennesaw, GA 30144 • Remote Job Summary As a Data Engineering Architect, you will serve as a leader planning the basic function of our data based on the needs of the industry. Areas of focus will be order data ETL process required for source data fulfilment, and governance and growth of the data warehouse. You will communicate with stakeholders about the problems they’re experiencing and determine how to address those issues through software. You will track each aspect of our system to make sure that your team is producing the appropriate infrastructure to host a functioning software application. You will guide in implementing tests, identifying bugs, maintaining standards, and correcting lines of code to ensure the software works correctly, tracking major changes and patches. Duties and Responsibilities Collaborating with various stakeholders to determine DevOps requirements. Creating high-level system specifications and design documents. Providing the development team with architectural blueprints to follow. Guiding and assisting the development team throughout the process. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design. Ensuring that you and the team adhere to development schedules and deadlines. Presenting regular progress reports and setting goals. Testing the final product to ensure it is completely functional and meets requirements. Updating software solutions as required. Working Conditions This position requires the incumbent to work indoors at a desk for extended periods of time and use of workstation.
