Perm PositionSenior Microsoft AzureData Engineer Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable data solutions using Azure DataServices, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, andAzure Data Lake Storage. Implement data integration and ETL processes to ingest,transform, and store data from various sources. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders tounderstand data requirements and deliver effective datasolutions. Optimize data storage and retrieval, ensuring high performanceand cost-efficiency. Monitor and maintain data pipelines, addressing any issues orbottlenecks promptly. Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards andbest practices. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior dataengineers. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure datatechnologies and recommend improvements to existing systems. Create and maintain data transformation pipelines usingAzure. Perform source data profiling and analysis. Design, develop, and test data mapping from source to targetwith transformation rules. Define and enforce processes and procedures to ensure dataquality and reliability. Develop and maintain documentation for data integration and ETLsolutions. Design and develop complex data modeling, data tagging,transformations, and automated data quality validationroutines. Participate in agile ceremonies, including code reviews,technical reviews, and project planning. Support business stakeholders in requirements gathering,scoping, and testing. Provide on-call support for production systems, includingincident management, code corrections, upgrades, and patches.

SeniorMicrosoft Azure Data Engineer Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with astrong focus on Microsoft Azure. Expertise in Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQLDatabase, Azure Data Lake Storage). Strong experience with data integration, ETL processes, anddata warehousing. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PowerShell. Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and security bestpractices. Hands-on experience building and supporting high-performancedata ingestion pipelines. Experience working with clinical data standards like HL7(preferred). Familiarity with integration connectors (APIs, File, SFTP/FTPS,Streaming Data, DB Connectors, SOAP, REST). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to workindependently and collaboratively. Demonstrated experience securing communications betweenendpoints. Understanding of Agile SDLC methodologies and tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

SeniorMicrosoft Azure Data Engineer Preferred Experience:

Microsoft SQL Server in Azure. Expert integration experience (MuleSoft experience is aplus). TOGAF Certification. Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g.,

Microsoft Certified:
