Data Engineer
Description What you will do Build and maintain scalable data pipelines from Mindbody Online, FranConnect, Meta, Google, LeadsBridge, FiveTran, and future sources into Snowflake. Transform, clean, and integrate data to ensure consistency and usability for Tableau dashboards. Design and optimize ETL processes using tools like FiveTran and Snowflake for efficiency and reliability. Ensure data integrity through validation, monitoring, and governance practices. Model and structure data in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting needs. Troubleshoot and enhance pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and scalability. Support data analysts and business users with data access and tool integration. Document pipelines and processes for team collaboration and onboarding. Adapt infrastructure to new data sources and evolving business requirements. security measures and access controls in Snowflake to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications:
Experience Level:
3-5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in a professional setting.
Data Pipeline Expertise:
Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for diverse data sources (e.g., APIs, databases, SaaS platforms).
Snowflake Proficiency:
Demonstrated experience with Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouses like BigQuery, Redshift) for data modeling, optimization, and management.
ETL Tool Mastery:
Strong working knowledge of ETL tools like FiveTran, Talend, or Airflow, with ability to automate and optimize data workflows.
Data Integration Skills:
Experience integrating data from platforms like Google, Meta, or similar APIs and marketing tools into a centralized system.
Data Quality & Governance:
Practical experience implementing data validation, monitoring, and governance to ensure integrity and reliability.
Tableau Support:
Familiarity with preparing and structuring data for Tableau (or comparable BI tools like Power BI) to enable seamless reporting.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL, Python (or another scripting language), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve pipeline and performance issues independently.
Communication:
Strong English skills (written and verbal) to collaborate with remote teams and document work effectively.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Mindbody Online, FranConnect, or LeadsBridge is a plus but not required-training will be provided.
