Azure Data Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Azure Data & Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud-based data processing and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure serverless components, streaming analytics, data integration tools, and secure application delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop serverless compute solutions using Azure Functions
Ingest and process real-time data using Azure Event Hubs and Azure Stream Analytics
Build scalable data pipelines and orchestrations using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Store and manage unstructured data using Azure Blob Storage
Query and analyze large datasets using Azure Data Explorer (ADX)
Implement secure and scalable API routing and delivery using Azure Application Gateway
Ensure secure access and identity management through Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data integration needs and deliver robust solutions
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot performance and reliability of Azure-based workflows
Required Skills:
4+ years of experience in cloud-based development with a focus on Microsoft Azure
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Event Hubs, ADX, ADF, and Stream Analytics
Solid understanding of data integration patterns, streaming data processing, and data lake architectures
Familiarity with setting up and managing Azure Application Gateway for secure API endpoints
Experience in managing and securing Azure Blob Storage environments
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and working with REST APIs
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Azure certification (e.g.,
Microsoft Certified:
Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like ARM templates or Bicep
