Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for hands-on development, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs/activities
Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria are met for application changes

Requirements:

8+ years of full stack experience in Java end to end application development
4+ years of Angular experience
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections
API, JDBC and knowledge of Java profiling tools
Knowledge of performance tuning data intensive applications
Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills
Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech based solutions
Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills
Excellentmunication skills
Software development using agile methodology and processes
Background in enterprise stress testing
Knowledge and/or experience working within the Elastic, Hadoop, Teradata or other big data distributed ecosystem
Knowledge of cloudputing or distributedputing
Able to partner with the multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platform
In-depth knowledge of development tools and languages

Pay Range:

$55.06 – $63.06
