Role:

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Engineer to join ourteam on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsiblefor designing, developing, and managing scalable, secure, andresilient infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform(GCP). You will work closely with DevOps, application development,and security teams to implement cloud solutions that align with ourbusiness goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement GCP-based solutions to support scalable andsecure applications.
  • Manage and monitor cloud resources, services, and security usingGCP-native tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understandrequirements and provide cloud architecture guidance.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline integration and configuration on GCP.
  • Perform cost optimization, security hardening, and performancetuning.
  • Troubleshoot issues across cloud services and applications.
  • Ensure compliance with security and operational bestpractices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Google Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • Robust understanding of GCP services such as Compute Engine,Cloud Storage, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, etc.
  • Proficiency with, Python, Bash, or similar scriptinglanguages.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CloudBuild).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker,Kubernetes).
  • Solid grasp of cloud security principles and IAMconfiguration.
  • Google Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect orCloud Engineer) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaborationskills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus,or Datadog.
  • Understanding of networking, DNS, VPC, and firewallconfigurations in GCP
