Postgres DBA Onsite Role – NJ/NC
Sr Database expert (Postgres and Big Query expertise)
Location:
New Jersey & Charlotte NC (Day 1 Onsite Role) C2C Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
Mandatory Skills are below
70% DBA and 30% Data Engineer
Postgres and Big Query expertise especially at the system level.
DB performance tuning expertise.
Experience designing database from scratch
Key Responsibilities
Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems
Design and implement data models, database structures, and data management systems
Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design
Install and update data management tools, ensuring the system is running smoothly
Implement data flow to connect operational systems, data for analytics and business intelligence (BI) systems
Ensure architecture supports business requirements
Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects
Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production
Resolve issues that arise in data management systems and improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality
Maintain data security and privacy, adhering to all regulatory compliances
Qualifications
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and implementing AI/ML solutions.
Strong understanding of AI platforms and technologies.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in AI/ML and Data Engineering.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of cloud-based AI services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Experience with data visualization tools.
