Description We are seeking an experienced and innovative Data Engineer to join our team and take the lead in designing and building scalable data pipelines, systems, and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern cloud-based data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI, along with expertise in SQL and Python. This role requires a technical problem-solver who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions with the ability to modernize legacy processes and create impactful data infrastructure. Life:
+ Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable data pipelines, ensuring efficiency and flexibility for growing data needs. + Build modern solutions using cloud-based data engineering platforms, including Microsoft Fabric, to support Data Science, Real-Time Analytics, and Data Warehousing needs. + Develop and optimize ETL workflows for ingesting and integrating EDI files (e.g., 834, 835, 837) and custom flat files into our Data Warehouse. + Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements, ensuring technical solutions meet organizational goals. + Translate legacy business logic from existing Python code into modern implementations, improving performance and readability. + Support ongoing cloud-based data engineering innovations while maintaining high standards for data quality and accessibility.

Technical Expertise:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric (or similar modern analytics and integration platforms). + Strong knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI. + Expert-level skills in SQL, including data modeling, querying, and optimization. + Advanced proficiency in Python, with the ability to review legacy code, extract business logic, and modernize data workflows. +
ETL Experience:
Proven ability to design and build ETL pipelines to integrate EDI files and custom flat files. +
Soft Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong remote communication abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders across locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with real-time data analytics pipelines and data science workflows. + Familiarity with regulated industries and/or compliance standards for data management. + Background in building scalable data platforms in Agile environments.
