About the Job We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Engineer to own the development and modernization of our data migration tools and processes. This role is pivotal in supporting customer transformation projects and enhancing the data experience across our analytics and consulting teams. You will work closely with multi-functional experts to drive innovation in our application data systems and ensure flawless data integration and migration for our clients. What you will do Serve as the guide in defining, architecting, and optimizing data migration tools and operational deployment processes. Collaborate with stakeholders on customer transformation and implementation projects to resolve data-related technical issues. Modernize and create data tools to support analytics, consulting, and data services teams in delivering exceptional product implementation experiences. Partner with data, architecture, and analytics teams to enhance the functionality of our application data systems. Build and optimize data pipelines, architecture, and datasets with a focus on analytical data. Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data to identify improvement opportunities. Develop processes for data transformation, metadata management, and workload optimization. Support cloud data management initiatives and ensure data quality and validation. What you need 5+ years in data engineering Strong SQL and cloud data experience (Snowflake, AWS , ) Hands-on with ETL/ELT tools (AWS Glue, dbt ) and data pipeline orchestration Skilled in data modeling, migration, and performance tuning Familiar with SDLC, source control, and data quality practices What makes you a Standout You bring a strategic approach to data migration and architecture challenges.
