Job Description
1. Years of Experience & Leadership
15+ years in IT, with a strong focus on data and application development.
Proven experience managing global technology teams including hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
Strong ability to influence C-level stakeholders and lead strategic initiatives.
2. Technical Skills
Deep experience with:
Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, etc.)
Programming with Python
Exposure to full data lifecycle from ingestion, transformation, to analytics.
Solid grasp of enterprise-level application development standards and practices.
3. Domain Knowledge
Strong understanding of the Financial Services industry is a must.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and governance frameworks.
4. Soft Skills / Other
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong strategic thinking and evaluative judgment in complex situations.
Ability to drive compliance and promote ethical business practices.
Comfortable working in a regulated environment (e.g., banking, finance).
