Objective:
Fingerpaint seeks a skilled, innovative Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic data engineering team. This role leverages expertise in building robust, cutting-edge data pipelines to transform raw data into actionable insights.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain sophisticated data pipelines to validate, cleanse, and optimize campaign data Design and advance our next-generation data solutions. Address ad-hoc requests and resolve technical issues efficiently. Manage and optimize campaign data warehouses.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience. 7+ years in data engineering or software engineering. Last 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools for building and supporting data pipelines. Experience developing and leveraging APIs for data integration. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform. Cloud experience, ideally with AWS. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and solution design skills. Excellent, detail-oriented communication skills. Ability to stay abreast of emerging technologies. Collaborative mindset with a sense of humor.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience integrating AI with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake Cortex). Familiarity with CI/CD workflows. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Jira. Experience with SFMC or Marketo datasets. Background in agency or pharmaceutical marketing. Proven ability to mentor team members.
