Paychex North America, Inc. seeks Data Quality and Integration Engineer II (Webster, NY)
Job Duties:
Serve in a leadership role within the data quality, governance, architecture, and development teams.
Duties include:
1.Lead comprehensive data profiling and analysis efforts, providing strategic recommendations, and actively participating in the design and implementation of advanced data quality processes and procedures for complex and strategic data initiatives and integration activities;2.Identify and champion opportunities for continuous improvement in data quality;3.Drive collaboration with stakeholder partners to devise and implement advanced solutions for the extraction, cleansing, transformation, enrichment, loading, and validation of complex and diverse data sets, ensuring successful data quality and migration activities;4.Develop advanced data quality metrics and reports, and drive data governance initiatives;5.Write complex data validation SQL queries based on mapping/requirement documents to validate quality of data between multiple systems;6.Lead the development of data extraction queries to extract Paychex Client and Employee data using SQL and automate complex extraction processes utilizing skills in data extraction and orchestration;7.Perform data profiling using SAS-DataFlux Data Management Studio, and User/Person/Worker matching analysis utilizing SAS-DataFlux proprietary Fuzzy match codes;8.Validate all the migrated data after successful implementation of data migration;9.Create and parameterize DMS jobs, and shell scripts to execute DataFlux Data Management Studio jobs in server;10.Design test cases based on requirements to validate ETL code and to compare source and target data;11.Lead the documentation of integration and data quality requirements, proposed solutions, code for traceability, and results, from requirements through code implementation;12.Develop data monitoring solutions based on defined data quality business rules;13.Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization maintains and enhances its data quality standards.
All Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Data Management, Data Analytics, or related field, plus five years of experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role. Experience, which may be gained concurrently, must include: 1)5 years of experience in data integration, data processing, data migration, data transformations, and data governance utilizing data quality tools and analytical techniques;2)5 years of experience developing complex SQL and other advanced data querying scripts in Oracle, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases; 3)5 years of experience utilizing cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure Data Factory;4)5 years of experience performing Data Quality development including building data profile and data monitoring jobs;5)5 years of experience building data jobs to standardize, parse and enrich data;6)5 years of experience building continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) for Data Quality deliverables.
