DescriptionAmazon’s Cross Channel Marketing Insights Team (XCMI) is seeking an experienced BIE who will be a key contributor, developing analytics and insights for Amazon Retail and Prime fixed marketing. As a key contributor, you’ll shape how we understand and engage with customers globally by building innovative solutions that transform complex data into actionable marketing insights, and help drive Amazon Retail and Prime’s mission to deliver breakthrough, culturally-aware marketing that creates lasting business value. About the team We are Amazon’s center of excellence for marketing insights and measurement, supporting global Cross Channel Marketing (XCM) initiatives across 10+ marketplaces. Our team blends advanced analytics, research expertise, and engineering innovation to drive data-driven marketing decisions. Our work spans foundational research streams including: Global brand health measurement and tracking Structural Equation Modeling to understand brand drivers Marketing effectiveness and creative performance analysis Customer lifecycle insights and segmentation Machine learning-driven marketing analytics Based across Seattle, Arlington, London, New York, and Bengaluru, we partner closely with senior leadership to transform research and data into actionable insights that shape Amazon’s marketing strategy.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modelingPreferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc.

The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
