Impact Data Architecture and Infrastructure:

Design, build, and maintain robust, extensible data systems and pipelines. This includes designing and implementing data lakes, data marts, and other data storage solutions.

Data Integration and ETL:

Develop and maintain data integration processes, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines, to move data from various sources into a central repository.

Data Quality and Integrity:

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through data quality checks and validation processes.

Data Governance:

Collaborate with IT teams to adhere to best practices and maintain data integrity.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work with data analysts, scientists, application owners, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data-driven decision-making.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up to date with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes. Experience and Skills You’ll Need to Have 5+ years of experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL), data modeling, and database management systems. Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Hive, and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools/frameworks. Solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices for maintaining data quality and integrity. Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior data engineers. #LI-LM1
