Torch Technologies Inc. is looking for a Modeling and Simulation Systems Analyst to support the Air & Missile Business Unit. In this role, you will assist with system-level Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Verification and Validation (V&V) activities and contribute to various analysis efforts. You’ll provide M&S analytical support for testing events and offer feedback to customers when needed. As a Modeling and Simulation Systems Analyst, you will help develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools, participate in technical interchange meetings, program reviews, integration and test working groups, and support meetings by preparing analyses and reports.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field. 5 years of experience in Air and Missile Defense (AMD), Missile Defense Agency (MDA) weapons systems, data analysis, Flight/Ground tests, system modeling & simulation, and/or system performance analysis. Basic knowledge of SQL or Python. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively brief diverse audiences. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and produce clear, concise reports and materials. Ability to analyze detailed technical information and develop logical solutions within specified schedules. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and taking on various roles as needed. Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills with team members, leadership, and customers. U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in SQL, Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++. Familiarity with requirements management and analysis, including traceability between M&S and weapon systems. Experience in M&S design, development, integration, and testing with knowledge of space, missiles, and/or launch systems at the component and system level. Understanding program planning, systems engineering, weapon system integration, and performance assessment. U.S. Citizenship Required for this
