Day-to-day:

Insight Global is looking for a Data Scientist for the Utility Grid team. This individual will analyze data from electrical grid monitoring sensors to provide insights and notifications about the state of utility partners’ infrastructure. They will perform time series analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics to identify and address power quality events and equipment malfunctions. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining machine learning algorithms, conducting root-cause analysis, designing experiments, and developing visualizations to communicate findings effectively. The role also involves reliability analysis for sensor deployments and transforming utility knowledge into actionable data signatures.
