We’re partnering with a leading global food and beverage brand that is embarking on a transformative journey to become a data-driven organization with the goal of better leveraging advanced analytics solutions in the QSR industry.
The Role
This would be the first hire for a Data Science team and responsible for helping shape the future of data science in this company
Building a function from the ground up
Hiring, building and scaling a team of data science professionals
Drive marketing initiatives, customer segmentation and customer value assessment
Collaborate with data and software engineers to support data science solutions through the entire product lifecycle, including data wrangling, exploratory analysis, hypothesis testing, modeling, rapid prototyping, business validation and testing, and deployment.
a variety of advanced analytical techniques including predictive modelling, machine learning, time series analysis, simulation, and optimization to address specific business challenges.
Your Skills & Experience
6+ years working in core Data Science roles ideally across retail
Proficient in Python & SQL
Experience leveraging first party data (combined with 3rd party) to create an addressable audience-based media segmentation
Proven experience as both an IC and a manager
Experience working with a variety of statistical and modeling techniques including hypothesis testing, supervised learning (classification and regression), forecasting, unsupervised clustering, and optimization
