Miami, FL Company/Role Overview:

A leading national fast-food restaurant brand is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Marketing Analytics team. This is a highly project-based role focused on building and deploying advanced analytical solutions that directly influence sales performance, marketing strategy, and customer engagement across thousands of locations. As a key member of the analytics department, you’ll work on initiatives ranging from sales forecasting and store clustering to personalized promotion recommendations and performance modeling.

Responsibilities:

Lead development of predictive and prescriptive models for sales forecasting, store performance, and marketing effectiveness Design and implement clustering and segmentation strategies to inform store-level marketing initiatives Drive performance analytics and generate actionable insights for marketing and operations stakeholders Build and deploy machine learning models across AWS and Azure DevOps environments Support A/B testing frameworks and time-series modeling to evaluate marketing mix and promotion performance Translate complex data findings into clear recommendations for non-technical business partners

Qualifications:

6+ years of hands-on data science experience (excluding academic work) Master’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science) OR 10+ years of experience in a professional data environment Proven experience in developing and deploying models for forecasting, classification, regression, clustering, and marketing analytics Strong coding and data engineering skills using Python , SQL , GitHub , Azure DevOps , and AWS SageMaker Demonstrated ability to manage complex, project-based analytical workstreams within a business setting Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven storytelling
