Data Scientist Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Akkodis is seeking a Data Scientist for a Contract job with a client in Cambridge, MA(Hybrid) . Responsibilities include developing and deploying scalable machine learning solutions in cloud environments and translating complex data insights into actionable business strategies.

Rate Range:

$67/hour to $69/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Scientist job responsibilities include:

Design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML models using Python to solve complex business problems. Work with large, diverse datasets across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and database systems (SQL, NoSQL, Snowflake). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and communicate insights effectively. Develop production-ready code with best practices including unit testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines. Apply statistical methods, time series forecasting, and deep learning techniques to drive innovation and optimization. Contribute to agile development cycles and support model orchestration using tools like Metaflow and Databricks.

Desired Qualifications:

PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or master’s with equivalent experience. Minimum 2+ years (PhD) or 4+ years (Master’s) of hands-on analytical and AI/ML modeling experience. Proficiency in Python for data science, with experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and database systems like Snowflake, SQL, and NoSQL. Pay Details:
