Trains and/or instructs subordinate staff within the guidelines of standard operating procedures, technical manuals, user specifications, and federal, state, County, and departmental policies, and procedures. Reports to the Deputy CIO Business Application Services or other designated person and works with co-workers, vendors, computer service personnel, employees, and government agencies to develop and support information systems.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Analyzes large, complex datasets and data interfaces to identify trends, patterns, and relationships for the purposes of data classification and data efficiency.

Implements Artificial Intelligence (AI) policy and solutions that integrate with existing business systems across the enterprise environment to enhance functionality and productivity.

Supports the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Network by providing any necessary data analysis, programming, development, review, support, and maintenance of the related software systems and interfaces. Assesses and analyzes the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques. Performs statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends and relationships in data.

Researches, evaluates, and introduces new technology to management. Instructs and assists other development team members with data standards, techniques, and concepts.
