Job Overview:
Client is undergoing a major transformation of its service activation and provisioning systems, transitioning from legacy Oracle
OSM & UIM
to a custom-built platform called Evolution
, hosted on AWS and powered by Camunda workflows, Spring Boot microservices, and Drools rules engine. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a visionary Reporting Lead to build and lead a modern reporting environment that supports strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of a robust reporting and analytics environment over the next 18 months.
Define success criteria, establish KPIs, and automate metric tracking across the Service Activation lifecycle.
Assess and recommend modern reporting tools and data science approaches tailored to business needs.
Build custom queries/models for audit management and data accuracy automation.
Collaborate with offshore Fusion developers to integrate dashboards into the Fallout UI.
Analyze trends, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Work closely with Data Platforms and Ops teams to ensure seamless data flow from the new data warehouse (leveraging RabbitMQ).
Develop and maintain executive and operational dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Splunk.
Guide and mentor a small reporting team while contributing hands-on to development and analysis.
Improve auditing capabilities and contribute to the strategic roadmap for reporting and analytics.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in reporting, analytics, and data visualization.
Strong background in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and query tools/statistical software.
Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, and Splunk.
Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders.
Experience in trend analysis, root cause identification, and KPI development.
Visionary mindset with the ability to align reporting strategy with business goals.
