Data Scientist Position Available In Morris, New Jersey

Develop Machine Learning models implemented in KPI forecast module, anomaly detection, and core recommender system for System of Insight & Data Science Platform. Create an ensemble architecture comprising of machine learning models using Python (Support Vector Machine, Random Forest, Decision Trees), along with bagging and boosting to handle imbalanced data. Design experiments, test hypotheses, and utilize appropriate system designs to discover patterns with ARIMA time series and anomaly detection algorithms like Local outlier factor and Isolation Forest. Perform Data related to new Feature Development, Change Requests, and enhancements to recommend best possible solution as per industry standard. Convert data to actionable intelligence including Real Time Customer Insights, Customer Cohort Segmentation & compile insights from different sources. Perform data analysis with understanding of business challenge & needs to evaluate business impact of on-going A/B tests to improve decision making. Provide reporting tool to check the sequence of automated data pipeline and maintain ETL while ensuring alignment with enterprise technology standard. Create a visual view of the steps for ETL to make sure data pipeline is automated and issues at any step can be diagnosed and fixed. Explore and work with a wide range of proprietary and efficient data lakes. Apply existing methods and develop new methods to create test software units to instrument new possibilities. Regular Code reviews, Quality check and Performance evaluation internally with peer Data Scientists. Conduct feasibility study of the requirements to be done considering the current system design. Review the code written by a developer in current sprint and offer actionable feedback and accept the merge request along with fixing discovered issues after finalizing the review. Coordinate with UI/UX team to improve dashboard website design and make sure recommendations and insights from ML models are properly interpreted. Coordinate with UI/UX team to implement their ideas of Tableau dashboard design, ensure the recommendations and insights provided to customers are user-friendly, well organized and accurately interpreted. Bridge technical modules with business understanding to ensure customers as strategy makers understand business impact of solutions and changes. Communicate frequently with stake holders like system owner, technical architects, and business analysts to provide technical solutions. Attend biweekly scheduled status call with peer analysts and developers, validation & QA team regarding the status of development along with ballpark estimate share. Frequent meeting with business stake holders and senior business decision makers to communicate regarding upcoming functional changes to the system through new development.

Duties entail work with Python, PySpark, SQL, Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn and NLTK.Requires a Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related, plus 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupations of Operations Research Analyst, Data Scientist (Statistician), Data Science Co-op, Trainee Decision Science, Software Developer, Computer Systems Analyst, Computer Programmer or related.
