Job Summary
Client is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Marketing Data Science & Analytics team. In this role, you will leverage data to drive operational efficiency, optimize marketing campaigns, and develop tooling that enhances team performance. This is a highly impactful position that blends tactical problem-solving with strategic thinking to support and scale marketing efforts through data-driven insights and solutions. Key Responsibilities
Campaign Analysis & Strategy:
Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities. Provide actionable recommendations to improve targeting, segmentation, and budget allocation.
Operational Process Optimization:
Identify workflow inefficiencies (e.g., manual reporting) and design scalable solutions such as automation programs, dashboards, or process improvements.
Tooling Infrastructure Development:
Build and enhance tools for data pipeline automation, reporting systems, and cross-functional workflows using SQL, BI platforms, and workflow orchestration tools.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with teams across Marketing, Engineering, and Product to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
Insights-to-Action:
Transform complex data sets into clear, strategic insights and present findings in a way that supports business decisions and marketing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
Analytical Mindset:
Proven experience in identifying opportunities through data analysis and driving improvements in process, tooling, or campaign strategy.
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate complex analytical insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in data science, analytics, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, or growth-focused roles.
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt) and cross-functional project management. Certifications
None required. Certifications in data analytics or business intelligence are a plus.
