Job Description
Reporting to: Global Security Associate Director
- Product Integrity Intelligence
Position Summary:
This position will serve as the Data Scientist for Product Integrity Intelligence, focusing on uncovering insights through data analysis, creating predictive models, and advanced analytical techniques to enhance product integrity initiatives. The incumbent will collaborate closely with various teams tomunicate findings and rmendations that support the Product Integrity global mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Identify patterns and trends in large datasets to extract actionable insights relevant to product integrity investigations.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to understand data relationships and inform decision-making processes.
Model Development and Forecasting:
- Design, develop, and implement predictive algorithms and data models to forecast oues related to product integrity.
- Utilizeplex analytical techniques to improve product quality and enhance data processing capabilities.
Tools and Technologies:
- Employ programming languages and tools such as Python, R, SQL, and statistical software for data manipulation and analysis.
- Develop and deploy interactive data dashboards using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI tomunicateplex data insights effectively.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams tomunicate data-driven rmendations and findings to stakeholders at various levels, including senior management.
- Present analytical results and insights in clear, concise formats that drive strategic initiatives related to product integrity.
Innovation and Development:
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science and data analytical methodologies to improve analytical approaches and tools used in data analysis.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new data science technologies and best practices to enhance research and reporting processes in the department.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5 or more years of proven experience in data analysis and model development, particularly in a relevant industry or domain.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization best practices.
- Experience using programming languages such as Python or R, and proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability tomunicateplex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strongmitment topliance and ethical standards in data handling and analysis.
- Knowledge and experience within the pharmaceutical anti-counterfeiting landscape is a plus.
- CFE certification is a plus
- Familiarity with OSINT methodologies and best practices is a plus.
