Entry Level Data Scientist Savannah River National Laboratory United States, South Carolina, Aiken Savannah River Site (Show on map) Jun 23, 2025 Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking an Entry Level Data Scientist to join the Advanced Modeling and Simulation Group. This role is primarily to assist in developing and testing machine learning models, implementing algorithm optimizations, and generating reports on analytical findings to inform decision-making processes. Additionally, the selected candidate will help maintain and update databases, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with more senior team members to refine AI/ML projects. SRNL is seeking to fill an early career staff position with an individual who is computationally and analytically oriented. The successful candidate will be familiar with computing and analysis software such as R, Excel, Python, JMP. The candidate is expected to grow in this position and branch into a multidisciplinary role.
