Position Overview/Responsibilities for the
Principal Data Scientist:
- Own the development and deployment of machine learning models to support operational and clinical use cases
- Perform ad-hoc data analyses related to outputs or alternative use-cases for existing models
- Collaborate with program owners to align models with program intent and key performance measures
- Create and present proposals for machine learning solutions to program owners
Required Skills for
Principal Data Scientist:
- 4+ years of experience performing quantitative analyses of healthcare claims
- 2+ years of experience using Python for machine learning model development and deployment
- 2+ years of experience using SQL, Databricks & Pyspark for data engineering tasks
- 2+ years of experience presenting to business and executive stakeholders
- Proficiency in version control (GIT), CI/CD principles, and test-driven development
- Experience with Azure or other cloud computing providers preferred
