The Vendor Data Specialist, as part of the Accounting Shared Services organization, is responsible for governance and maintenance of Vendor master data, globally, for the organization. The Analyst will work with business requestor’s and various process owners to maintain proper, up-to-date, information on vendor master per company standards. This role will ensure compliance with the process within established SLA’s and adherence to established practices, procedures, and policies. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Procurement, Estimating, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Operations and business users to ensure proper and authenticated vendors are onboarded and maintained. Verify documentation received for onboarding new vendors and updates to existing vendor master data. Address any queries from business requestors in relation to vendor master data. Respond to escalation requests from business users. Provide strict adherence to company processes with an clear understanding of current workflow management in ERP systems to ensure seamless integration across departments and improve efficiency. Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, organization, and decision-making skills. Good time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Collect and prepare required documentation and work with Finance team on audits. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. (Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting preferred) 2+ years of experience within Master Data or Finance/Accounting experience. Understanding of workflow management in ERP systems Strong communication skills and customer support. Excel skills required.
