This newly created, full-time, on-site position provides direct support to the Purchasing team and works closely with outside suppliers as well as internal departments, including Operations and Marketing/E-Commerce. The Data Integrity Specialist will play a vital role in managing and maintaining accurate, consistent, and high-quality product data within URI’s ERP system. This position ensures product data integrity across the organization, improves product discoverability, and supports effective product lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary gatekeeper for new item setup in URI’s ERP system. Maintain existing item data following URI’s product information style guide. Work with the Purchasing and E-Commerce teams to collect, organize, and manage Product Information Management (PIM) data from external vendors. Collaborate with Purchasing and cross-functional teams to refine item-level data, including: o Accurate and consistent product descriptions o Internal product categorization (category, sub-category, product line, etc.) o Key attributes such as HTS codes, country of origin, and tax classification Ensure timely and accurate entry of cross-references, supersessions, and product substitutions. Manage product lifecycle coding (e.g., tagging obsolete products, cleaning up superseded items). Assign relevant keywords to enhance branch-level search functionality in the ERP system. Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in data integrity, product information management, purchasing support, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data validation, cleansing, and reporting tools. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Infor-TREND) and/or PIM platforms (e.g., Enable) is preferred. Experience in cross-functional coordination and project management is a plus.
