Development and Fundraising Job Description The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc (UTFI) invites applications and nominations to fill the position of Constituent Management Specialist II, with a focus on Gift Import tasks and responsibilities. Reporting to the Principal Lead of Constituent Management, the Constituent Management Specialist II is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate data entry of charitable and non-charitable contributions into the donor CRM (Salesforce Ascend). This role will review, code, and post gift data into the constituent management system in compliance with internal guidelines and industry standards. Responsibilities Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Gift Import & Processing:

Accurately enter gift and pledge information into the donor CRM system in a timely manner. Review donor correspondence and supporting documentation to determine correct coding and gift type. Ensure consistency and accuracy in donor records and contribution designations. Verify donation data against source documentation for completeness and compliance. Apply internal guidelines and industry (CASE) standards for gift entry and donor recognition.

Team Support & Operational Assistance:

Participate in team meetings, trainings, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Assist with routine audits and data management projects. Provide general administrative support for the Gift Import & Processing discipline as needed. Maintain a working knowledge of UTFI gift processing policies and procedures. Stay informed of updates to internal systems and protocols.

Specialized Responsibilities:

Coordinate tasks related to platforms such as GiveCampus, Blackthorn, Formstack, UTK Athletics, or other sources of imported gifts. Assist with special projects or temporary duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Gift Import or Director of Gift Import and Processing. Qualifications Required Education and Experience The candidate who fills the Constituent Management Specialist position is required to have:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
3+ years of professional experience in an office setting
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Preferred Education and Experience In addition to meeting the required qualifications, the preferred candidate will have:
Associate degree
Gift processing experience, billing, or related experience preferably within higher education or non-profit
Experience with Salesforce
