Job Description:

We are seeking four (4) experienced Data Center Technicians and one (1) Lead Technician to support a short-term project involving rack and stack operations, device cabling, and relocation activities within a data center/lab environment.

Responsibilities:

Disconnect and remove existing data center equipment (Cisco switches, Dell servers, etc.) Rack and stack servers and switches per a provided layout and port matrix Dress and route cables neatly and according to best practices Follow detailed documentation for port assignments and cable labeling Relocate server racks within the facility if required Work under the guidance of the Lead Technician to ensure all tasks are completed to specification and on schedule Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the work area

Lead Technician Additional Duties:

Oversee the deployment team and serve as point-of-contact on-site Coordinate daily objectives and ensure alignment with the scope of work Report progress and issues to project management Remain on-site Monday regardless of team reduction, if the project requires

Required Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in data center rack and stack, and structured cabling Ability to interpret and follow a cable port matrix accurately Skilled in proper cable dressing and management Familiarity with Cisco switches and Dell server hardware Ability to lift and move equipment safely Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time constraints

Job Types:
