Exadata Admin
Hybrid W2 Contract – NO C2C Availability
We’re seeking an experienced Exadata Admin to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our Oracle Exadata infrastructure. As an Exadata Admin, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the health and efficiency of our database environment, working closely with our IT team to troubleshoot issues, apply patches, and optimize system performance. Availability to work 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm (40 hours), with flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed
Estimated duration: approximately 1 year, with potential for extension
Located in Birmingham, AL, Phoenix, AZ, Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, and Dallas, TX
Reponsibilities:
Address Exadata Hardware Failures
Apply Exadata Patches
Participate in Rotating On-Call Off-Hours Coverage
Field Customer Requests
Investigate Performance Issues
Required Skills:
5+ Years Experience with Oracle DBA
5+ Years Experience with Oracle Recovery Appliances
5+ Years Experience Troubleshooting Performance Issues
5+ Years Experience in Full Stack Patching of the Exadata Appliance
5+ Years Experience in Full Stack Exadata Support
5+ Years Experience in Replacing Failed Components of the Appliances
