Job Description The Manager, Salesforce Administration & Architecture plays a critical dual role at Daxko—leading a high-performing team of Salesforce Administrators while also serving as the hands-on solution architect for the Salesforce platform. This position blends strategic leadership with deep technical expertise to scale and optimize our use of Salesforce across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and integrated systems. This role is responsible for platform governance, architecture, and innovation, ensuring the reliability, integrity, and growth-readiness of our Salesforce environment. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Salesforce Administrators, fostering growth and high performance. Define clear goals, establish priorities, and align team efforts with organizational objectives. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions. Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members. Develop career paths and growth plans based on business needs and individual strengths. Manage workload distribution, resource planning, and project prioritization in partnership with Business Systems leadership. Salesforce Architecture & Platform Strategy Serve as the primary solution architect for Salesforce initiatives, including CPQ, automation, and integrations. Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions using declarative and programmatic tools. Lead the design and implementation of workflows, permission structures, automation, and custom enhancements. Maintain high standards for platform governance, documentation, and change control processes. Drive continuous improvements that support business efficiency, reporting accuracy, and user experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Facilitate discovery sessions, solution design reviews, and proof-of-concept builds. Collaborate with teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and IT to align on platform priorities and ensure cohesive system integration. Participate in platform roadmap planning, quarterly release cycles, and Salesforce governance committees. Evaluate and implement third-party tools and AppExchange apps to expand platform capabilities. Qualifications Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, architecture, or platform management. 2+ years of experience leading or managing technical teams. Expertise in Salesforce architecture, declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder), and automation best practices. Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and complex pricing/quoting configurations. Strong understanding of platform governance, change management, and integration strategies. Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, or Architect certifications preferred. Experience working with systems like NetSuite, Slack, and JIRA. Proven track record in managing Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado). Preferred Qualifications Experience designing and managing security models, permission sets, and sharing rules. Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder Certification. Experience in a mid-to-large company structure with cross-functional project work. Background in system integrations and API configurations. Additional Information The on target earnings (OTE) for this role is $147,900 – $213,100 per year. Where you fall within the pay range is based on how you demonstrate the attributes and competencies required for the role. We mostly reserve the upper half of our compensation bands for internal growth.
