$25-27/hr 10%Shift differential

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SmartHands Technician with experience in data centers and fiber opticsto provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, andmaintenance. The ideal candidate will assist with hardwareinstallations, network configurations, cable management, and fiberoptic troubleshooting in a fast-paced IT environment.

KeyResponsibilities:

Perform rack and stack of servers, network gear,and other IT hardware. Assist with fiber optic and copper cableinstallation, termination, and testing . Troubleshoot network andhardware issues, escalating as necessary. Conduct routinemaintenance, firmware updates, and system diagnostics. Provideremote hands support for client requests, including rebootingdevices and replacing components. Maintain accurate documentationof work performed. Adhere to data center security and operationalprotocols.

Qualifications:

1 years of experience in a data center,NOC, or IT field support role . Familiarity with fiber optics,structured cabling, and network infrastructure . Ability totroubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and power issues. Strongunderstanding of rack layout, cable management, and labelingstandards . Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and serverhardware preferred. Comfortable working in a 24/7 environment withpotential on-call duties. Certifications such as CompTIA Network,CCNA, or BICSI are a plus.
