SQL Developer Position Available In Duval, Florida

Role:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical SQL Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support enterprise-grade applications and business intelligence solutions. You’ll work closely with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, availability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions. + Design and implement database solutions that ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability. + Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into reliable database objects. + Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, including query tuning and index optimization. + Support ETL processes using tools like SSIS or equivalent. + Maintain data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and other database documentation. + Assist in database deployment, versioning, and release processes.

Requirements Required Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or Database Developer. + Strong expertise in T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and above). + Solid understanding of relational database design principles, normalization, and indexing strategies. + Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting. + Familiarity with ETL tools such as SSIS and working knowledge of data warehousing concepts. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. + Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/reporting tools. + Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. + Exposure to DevOps, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
