We have an immediate need for a Atlas MongoDB Database Administrator a Tampa, FL-based client. This role involves designing and implementing Atlas MongoDB solutions to support diverse application environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MongoDB development, including maintaining and optimizing existing systems, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to implement effective data models.
In addition to MongoDB expertise, the candidate must demonstrate strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL Server administration. This includes advanced performance tuning, query optimization, experience with Always On availability groups, and a working knowledge of Azure SQL environments. Experience with MySQL and scripting capabilities (such as Shell, Python, or PowerShell) will be considered a strong advantage.
To be successful in this position, one needs to be a highly skilled and analytical database administrator with deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset for improving database performance and scalability.
