Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Report Developer to support an ongoing data migration and reporting transformation initiative scheduled through March 2026. The role involves migrating approximately 300 reports and refactoring SSIS packages into SQL-based ETL processes, integrated with Snowflake for data warehousing. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SQL development, Snowflake platform capabilities, and GitLab for CI/CD processes, along with effective communication and collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities
Migrate legacy reports and SSIS packages to SQL-based ETL processes aligned with Snowflake warehousing.
Develop and optimize stored procedures, transformation logic, and data pipelines using SQL and T-SQL.
Implement and maintain dimensional data models, including slowly changing dimensions, facts, and dimensions in Snowflake.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Utilize GitLab for code versioning, promoting code across Dev, Test, and Prod environments.
Assist with data triage and encryption processes using Python where necessary.
Work closely with the team to ensure quality documentation and knowledge transfer.
Support performance tuning of SQL queries and Snowflake processes.
Evaluate Control-M scheduling for pipeline orchestration and coordinate with adjacent AWS infrastructure teams. Required Qualifications
Proven expertise in SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, and complex data transformation logic.
Strong experience in ETL design and implementation.
Proficiency in data modeling and performance tuning.
Deep understanding of the Snowflake platform including SnowSQL, tasks, streams, and stored procedures.
Experience using GitLab for code versioning and environment management.
Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work cross-functionally with business teams. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, ECS, Lambda).
Familiarity with SSIS package conversion and design.
Working knowledge of Python for file triage and scripting.
Exposure to Control-M for job scheduling and workflow automation.
