Donor Development Administrator Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties – Family Services 12751 New Brittany Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator to join our team. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our organization, particularly in managing administrative tasks and supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for contributing to the mission of our nonprofit organization. Duties Oversee daily administrative operations and ensure efficient workflow within the office. Assist in proposal writing and grant applications to secure funding for projects. Manage nonprofit management tasks, including compliance with regulations and reporting requirements. Utilize Salesforce for tracking donor interactions and managing relationships effectively. Maintain the organization’s website using WordPress, ensuring content is up-to-date and engaging. Coordinate email marketing campaigns through MailChimp to promote events and initiatives. Support strategic planning efforts by collecting data and providing insights from various databases. Facilitate communication between departments to enhance collaboration and project success. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure favorable terms for the organization. Experience Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a nonprofit or university setting. Strong skills in proposal writing and familiarity with grant processes are highly desirable. Proficiency in Salesforce, WordPress, MailChimp, and other relevant tools is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and email marketing initiatives will be beneficial. Experience managing databases effectively to support organizational goals is preferred. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor management is a plus.
