GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

: Seeking an experienced and analytical professional to manage program and donor data for The Florida Center’s eight programs. This position will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing programmatic outcome data, creating program proformas to support strategic decision-making, and maintaining the donor database to support fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis, financial modeling, CRM database management skills, and the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights for leadership and program teams.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and/or donor database management. Proficiency in database systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools). Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, financial projections, and data visualization. Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration. Ability to synthesize data and trends into actionable recommendations. Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Google G-Suite.

Position Highlights:

This role is critical to driving data-informed decision-making across philanthropy, operations, and programs. The Data Analyst and Donor Database Manager ensures the accuracy and utility of all program and donor data, provides analysis for leadership reports, builds and updates proformas for program growth strategies, and supports donor segmentation and targeted communication. Occasional weekend and evening hours are required to support events and special projects

Core Responsibilities:
Program Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting:

Partner with program leaders to collect outcome data across eight programs. Develop and maintain dashboards tracking program performance and impact. Analyze program data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare outcome reports and data summaries for leadership, grant reporting, and external stakeholders.

Program Proforma Development:

Build and maintain proformas (financial and operational models) for each program. Incorporate variables such as enrollment trends, staffing needs, payer mix, and program costs. Provide leadership with financial models to support program scaling, adjustments, or new initiatives.

Donor Database Management:

Maintain accuracy and integrity of donor data within CRM systems. Process donations and ensure accurate gift entry, receipting, and acknowledgment. Reconcile donor database with financial records in collaboration with accounting. Create and adjust donor segmentation criteria to support fundraising strategies. Analyze donor trends and generate fundraising performance reports.

Targeted Donor Communications Support:

Assist in creating segmented mailing lists for appeals, newsletters, and stewardship communications. Support the development of donor impact reports using both financial and programmatic data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Philanthropy, Program, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment of data-driven initiatives. Serve as a point of contact for data-related needs across departments.
