Advocate Program, Inc. is a private not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) justice agency that offers probation, diversion, community service, DUI and traffic programs, domestic violence programs, substance abuse and mental health evaluations and treatment to court-ordered individuals. It has expanded to work with juveniles and families in the juvenile justice field, families impacted by family conflict and violence, and homeless veterans and their families.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for data maintenance, data implementation, and data quality of assigned programs. Maintenance of data quality for the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) for Broward, Miami, and Monroe Counties Attend trainings to remain current of changes in data standard, reporting, grant, etc. Ensure that all functionality and services provided by web-based data entry system are optimized and used to fullest capacity. Generate programmatic reports in various reporting databases. Investigate validity of data and prepare statistical reports. Ensure that self and staff are properly trained on databases. Serve as first point of contact for staff with data related requests or needs Participate in Performance and Quality Improvement activities. Facilitate trainings on data systems in person, remote, and via pre-recorded training videos. Miscellaneous duties as determined by the Director.

Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree. Work experience in databases, data entry, and data reporting. Significant knowledge of spreadsheet applications (Microsoft, Google Docs). Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and capable of taking initiative.
