Information Technology Family Church Network Position Overview:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for managing the relational data of the Church Management Software within the Information Technology department of the Family Church Network. Position goal is to ensure data integrity, availability, and performance while implementing security measures and optimizing database operations.

Director Information Technology Prerequisites:
Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church. Affirm the Family Church Network statements of belief and practices as codified in our organizational bylaws and detailed in the Baptist Faith and Message confessional statement of 2000. Maintain a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in Microsoft’s Structured Query Language (SQL). Experience with analytical data analysis. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or experience equivalent.
General Responsibilities:
Maintain stable database environment, including testing, reporting and file structures. Maintain documentation of database structures, queries, and reports. Diagnose and resolve database issues, providing technical support to users. Analyze database performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements. Serve as liaison between the Finance and Information Technology departments, and end-user community. Produce all queries, reports, and lists needed by users in an easy-to-read manner. Professionally communicate with leadership and staff. Demonstrate stewardship of church resources including supplies, equipment and intellectual property. Understand and adhere to procedural guidelines and policies.
