Job Description
Description This shift will be 6 PM to 6 AM- Thurs/Fri/Saturday and every other Wednesday. We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Data Center Technician to join our IT team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing data center infrastructure to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with server installations, network configurations, and hardware maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain data center infrastructure, including servers, racks, switches, and other hardware. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to systems, software, and hardware. Manage network maintenance tasks, including user accounts, permissions, and security protocols. Document procedures, system configurations, and network settings for future reference. Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud infrastructure.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in data center operations, hardware maintenance, and network troubleshooting.
