The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our data center infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain data center equipment including servers, routers, and switches. Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on network issues related to VoIP, LAN, and fiber splicing. Manage cabling infrastructure including Cat6 installations and ensure compliance with NEC standards. Collaborate with team members to design and implement network schematics. Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure uptime. Assist in the deployment of new technologies and upgrades within the data center. Document all procedures, configurations, and changes in the data center environment. Qualifications Proven experience working in a data center environment is preferred. Familiarity with networking equipment such as Cisco routers and Juniper devices. Knowledge of VoIP systems, fiber splicing techniques, and electrical systems is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support data center operations.
