Database Administrator – Intermediate. On-Site / Fort Stewart, GA
Tiber Creek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server for a contingent position on our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Power Platform for developing database access authorizations and possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication and teamwork abilities are essential for this role.

Education:
BA/BS
Experience:
5+ years related work experience.
Certifications:
DoDD 8570.01 within 6 months (required). Microsoft Certifications (e.g.,
Microsoft Certified:
Azure Database Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified:
Power Platform Fundamentals) (desired).
Clearance:
DoD Secret clearance.
Experience:
- Database Administrator with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform for developing database access authorizations.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Duties:
Database Installation & Configuration:
Installing, configuring, and patching database systems.
Performance Monitoring & Tuning:
Proactive monitoring of database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Backup & Recovery:
Implementing and testing database backup and recovery procedures.
Security Management:
Managing database security, including user access controls and data encryption.
High Availability & Disaster Recovery:
Supporting the implementation and maintenance of high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
Minimum Qualifiers:
- Current DoD Secret clearance.
- Education and experience requirements.
- Candidates must be local to Fort Stewart, GA.
- Unable to work with 3rd party candidates or agencies.
