Job Description
Boston University is seeking a collaborative, strategic, anddetail-oriented Assistant Registrar for Department Support to join ourOffice of the University Registrar (OUR). This position plays a vitalrole in maintaining student records, supporting new system initiatives,and driving improvements to business processes that impact students,faculty, and staff. The Assistant Registrar ensures data accuracy,supports system testing and implementation, and partners closely withcolleagues across campus to uphold the integrity of academic records.
Key Responsibilities:
? Support the implementation and ongoingdevelopment of new system functionality and enhancements within MyBU ?Collaborate with schools and colleges to research, evaluate, andimplement business process improvements ? Monitor and manage dataqueries and record updates to ensure accurate and timely maintenance ofstudent records ? Provide technical and functional support for systemupgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and daily operations ? Assist intraining OUR, Enrollment Services, and academic unit staff on new orupdated systems and processes ? Serve as a liaison with campus partnersto resolve student academic record issues and support institutionalcompliance ? Review and prioritize projects, ensuring completion ofcritical activities on a daily, weekly, and semester basis ? Participateon institutional committees and contribute to department-wideinitiatives ? Continuously assess and advocate for improvements insystem functionality, workflow, and service delivery ? Assist inpreparing and reviewing documentation and training materials for new andrevised processes Specific application
