The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the infrastructure of our data center, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Duties Install, configure, and maintain data center equipment including servers, networking devices, and storage systems. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime. Manage cabling infrastructure, ensuring proper organization and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with team members to implement new technologies and upgrades within the data center environment. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues effectively. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and changes made to the data center infrastructure. Assist in the development of schematics for network layouts and electrical configurations. Qualifications Proficiency in using hand tools for equipment installation and repair. Strong understanding of computer networking principles including Ethernet protocols. Experience with VoIP systems is a plus. Familiarity with cabling standards and practices in a data center environment. Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Previous field service experience is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to network setups and electrical configurations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
