Volt is immediately hiring Rack & Stack Technicians in Maiden, NC.
Join Volt and work with one of the largest techpanies in the world to build out IT infrastructure critical to online services used by millions of customers across the globe. Bring your strongputer and networking fundamentals and gain experience in a Data Center environment.
As a Rack & Stack Technician you will:
Rack and stack assets including network switches,puter servers, PDUs and related equipment in a data center environment
Install and dress cables: primary/secondary power, DAC, Ethernet & fiber
Label cables in accordance with build specifications
Tag assets to ensure proper cataloging in asset database
Work with hand tools to assemble cabinets and install related hardware
Rack & Stack Technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
Experience working with Ethernet and/or fiber cables
Previous experience working with rack mounted network switches/routers and servers preferred
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand throughout an 8-hour shift, and lift/move up to 50 lbs. of equipment as needed
Experience with the following is a plus:
Racking and stacking
Ethernet and/or fiber cables
Previous work in a data center environment
Hardware installation
Networking orputer certifications

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 1st shift (Days)

Pay Rate:

$20.00 per hour
