Job Description An employer is seeking an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Developer for a large automotive client sitting fully remote in India. This person will be designing, developing, and maintaining data warehousing solutions, focusing on the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources. They ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency, often working with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into efficient ETL processes.

Other responsibilities include:

Data Modeling:

Defining the structure and format of data required for analysis.

Data Extraction:

Extracting data from various source systems.

Data Transformation:

Transforming data into a format suitable for analysis and storage.

Data Loading:

Loading transformed data into a data warehouse or other target system.

Data Quality Management:

Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data.

Data Pipeline Development:

Creating and maintaining data pipelines for efficient data flow.

Performance Optimization:

Optimizing ETL processes for efficiency and scalability.

Troubleshooting:

Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the ETL process.

Collaboration:

Working with business analysts, data analysts, and other stakeholders.

Documentation:

Skills and Requirements Strong SQL Skills:

Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Database Knowledge:

Understanding of various relational database management systems (RDBMS) and data warehousing technologies.

Programming Skills:

Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used for ETL development, such as Python or Java.

Data Modeling Skills:

Understanding of data modeling principles and techniques for designing data warehouses.

ETL Tool Experience:

Familiarity with various ETL tools and platforms, such as GBQ dataform, DAG, airflow, composer

Problem-solving and Analytical Skills:

Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Communication and Collaboration Skills:
