Job Description:

Responsible for developing complex requirements , enhancing,modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Financial Crimestechnology to accomplish business goals. Software developersdesign, code, test, debug and document programs as well as supportactivities for the maintaining the application. Work closely withbusiness partners in defining requirements for systemapplications.

Required Experience/Skills:

Typically requires 10+ years of applicable experience. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of business requirements, businessenvironments, and technological alternatives to recommendinnovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage tothe organization. Responsible for providing insight and directionfrom a data perspective, assessment of impact on technology systemsand participation in the full development lifecycle of thecapability being delivered. Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements. Estimate worknecessary to realize a story/requirement through the deliverylifecycle. Perform proof of concept as necessary to mitigate riskor implement new ideas. Setup and automate continuousintegration/continuous delivery pipeline. Working closely with Production Support teams, Platform teams andBusiness Partners, this person handles technical aspects of theapplication, including Change Management, Maintenance, PlatformUpgrades, and Changes to requirements from both upstream anddownstream interfacing applications. Demonstrated data sourcing,data analysis and modeling skills with the ability to buildinnovative data provisioning models to support large scalefinancial crimes data sourcing initiatives. Work with a team ofData Analysts and Developers related to Data to ensure bestpractice and governance is followed. Promoting and applying bestpractices and standards at a project, program level. Partners with the business to develop plans, including ongoingsuccess measures, to sustain the change. Accountable for analyzingpresent-state, developing alternative future-state approaches andfacilitating implementation. Effectively communicates withmanagers, peers and business partners on deliverables andtimelines. Responsible for being Agile and following agilepractice. In parallel, ensuring all Enterprise Change Standards aremet.

  • Experience in Teradata, SQL/BTEQ scripting, TPT, UNIX Shellscripting, Autosys, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and Dataanalysis.
  • Strong Data sourcing, data modelling and provisioning skills asrelated to support large scale AML monitoring and surveillance dataassets.
  • Database
  • Executed database intensive development, datamigrations and conversions.
  • Knowledge and experience working with SQL performancetuning.
  • A person who can handle all at once
  • Design/Build, Hands-ondevelopment, Co-ordination of development in distributedenvironment
  • Very good at engaging Business stakeholders and apt at Businessengagement and requirement discovery
  • Good experience in SDLC, Agile, Continuous IntegrationContinuous Delivery, and change management (CICD )
  • Jira,Bitbucket,Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible
  • Good knowledge of Unix and development of shell scripts isrequired
  • Good to have business knowledge in financial domains related toAnti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Software development in Agile environment.
Education:
  • Degree from outstanding university
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitativediscipline
