Job Description

Purpose:

Teya Management Services, LLC (TMS) Database Administrator will perform short-term (seasonal) work on a contract that supports post Hurricane Helene response efforts in Western North Carolina. The Database Administrator ensures overall performance, reliability, and security of data, databases, and related applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned. To provide an overall status of mission performance on the contract, Database Administrator will summarize, validate, present, and audit specified periodic transactional data. Database System administration and configuration; workflow development and administration along with a major role in end-user support Facilitates system administration of CASPIO system including user set up, management, controls, reporting, etc. as required and needed by operations or contract/government staff. Administer and maintain database environments, including installation, configuration, patch management, etc. as required by system(s) Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access controls, data encryption/protection, and auditing mechanisms Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guides. Other duties as assigned.

Must be a US Citizen without Dual Citizenship to another country (due to federal contracting requirements) This position requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. 7+ years of experience with database administration or related technologies. Candidates must be able to support the contract work seasonally in Lake Lure, NC or ability to potentially travel as required by contract/company. Participation in a seasonal, on-call schedule for system or contract support may be required. Must have ability to summarize, validate, and audit transactional data
