The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and a passion for creating efficient, high-quality code. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement database solutions that meet business requirements. The successful candidate will be adept at problem-solving and possess a keen understanding of database architecture. Duties Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code for various applications. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Optimize SQL queries for performance improvements. Conduct thorough testing of database applications to ensure reliability and accuracy. Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives. Utilize tools such as Apache Hive and Hadoop for data processing and analysis. Implement RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between systems. Work with Talend for data integration tasks. Write Shell scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance productivity. Engage in model training activities to support machine learning initiatives. Experience Proven experience as an Oracle PL SQL Developer or similar role. Strong knowledge of database management systems, particularly Oracle databases. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Hive and Hadoop is preferred. Experience in Agile methodologies and working within a collaborative team environment. Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures. Knowledge of server management concepts is a plus. Experience with Spark is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
